Giggle Monster.

7 months.

Our little man is such a joy. Well, really... there is so much of him to love!

The stats as of 9/23/09:
Height: 28.5 inches
Weight: 22.5 lbs

BIG BOY!

He is babbling using a few consonants such as "m" and "b's." Still not rolling over, but is sitting comfortably reaching in all directions. Good at getting onto all 4's but crawls backwards! That is quite frustrating for Isaac since he is looking at the object in front of him while he goes in the opposite direction.


This month was a little quieter, but we did celebrate Cousin Carly's 10th birthday.

6 months.

6 months old. 1/2 birthday. Where has the time gone?

As of our 6 month checkup (which consisted of more shots...) our stats are:

Height: 27.75 inches long - 88%
Weight: 20lbs 9.3oz - 91%
What a big baby boy!!

eating breakfast and dinner in our highchair favorites being bananas and carrots, and loved canteloupe in our mesh feeder... yummy!

We have pretty much skipped rolling over, Isaac can do it if he wants but that is just a lot of weight to get over :) He also says "hi" or "ha" a lot but we are pretty sure there is no meaning behind it.

We are also venturing into the new realm of sippy cups. He actually took to it pretty quickly, but has difficulty holding onto it for too long.

He giggles and squeals all the time, lots of rasberries and big big smiles.

months 1-6

5 months old

5 months already. Our baby is growing so fast! He has started solids (rice cereal), is sleeping 9-10 hrs through the night, and accepting weight through his legs and hands comfortably. He is not rolling over yet (only 2 times), but the doctor says the "chunkier" babies tend to be a little slower due to their "love" being in the way :)


We have had a busy month with Father's day, our 5th anniversary in Santa Barbara, Independence Day, birthday parties, etc...

Our growth so far:
Height: 26.75 inches
Weight: ~19 pounds (...home scale)

1st High Chair Experience

This past week or two we have been starting to eat rice cereal. At first there were only tears with the spoon, but finally we got it after a few tries....

Then we tried the high chair...

So now our little guy is eating solids... really liquidy solids.

1st swim

Last week Tuesday Isaac went over to Kira's house (6 months old) for his first swim in the pool. We grimaced a bit at first, but once we were in, he enjoyed being in the water.
