1st Thanksgiving.

This year we spent Thanksgiving at Eric's Aunt Nancy and Uncle Don's. Being it was Isaac's first Thanksgiving, we had the camera handy (like we wouldn't have anyways :-)

Good times!

9 months.

It's official... our son is no longer a baby.

He is pulling to standing and semi-cruising. Actually he is not even pulling to stand anymore, he is pushing to stand with his legs. Standing at the wall and cupboards in the kitchen. Starting to get into everything...

We had our first Halloween this month, super fun for mom, dad, and the family. Isaac just was in awe the whole time and got some great candy for mommy and daddy, lol.

Our stats this month:
Height: 28.5 inches
Weight: 23.5 lbs

Seems we have slowed down on our height. The weight boost I think is due to all the muscle and bone growth from the crawling and standing because he fits in everything the same, wearing 12 month clothes.

These past couple of weeks we have become more vocal with our biggest words being "dadada' and "bababa."

Isaac is also really getting the hang of feeding himself. Today he chomped down on some pineapple and cheerios.

pull to stand.

Right before Halloween last week, Eric calls me and says he was looking at the monitor while Isaac was in his crib taking a nap. Yet all he saw was little tushy that was NOT on the crib mattress. So he grabbed the camera (I've trained him well! haha) and there was a happy, laughing baby.

Since then he has been pulling to stand all over the house. On Eric's computer chair, onto the couch, even up onto the front wheel of the parked stroller. I have only seen 1 step taken to constitute "cruising" but definitely something that will soon be a reality.

1st halloween

Our "little monster" did AMAZING with his first Halloween. Didn't seem to mind his costume (looking adorable, I might add), didn't cry at any scary witches, and scored mommy and daddy with some candy!

The weekend started with some pumpkin carving with our cousins and Auntie Connie and Uncle Kevan.

Then everyone came over for some yummy food and great trick-or-treating.

8 months.

We have hit a milestone! Crawling (and subsequently getting into everything) and rolling over consistently. We sleep now on our belly, giving mom and dad something to check on constantly (to see if I'm breathing!) and we look and come [crawling] to our name. We also finally got to meet Aunt Danette and cousin Izabella from TN (we met U. Craig a few months back)!

Our height and weight have plateaued this month:
Height: 28.5 inches
Weight: 22 lbs (yes, we LOST weight... albeit 0.5 lbs)
